The two codes worth knowing
These control whether calls to your own number go to Ali. Dial them like a phone number, from the handset whose number is being forwarded.
- ##002# — cancels every diversion. Your phone rings normally again. This is the one to remember; it always puts things back.
- **61*<your DeskAli number>**10# — sends calls to Ali after about five rings, so you always get the chance to answer first.
Your DeskAli number is shown in the app under Number & Setup, along with the exact code to dial for your carrier.
Common questions
Dial ##002#. That clears every diversion, including a half-set one. Then set the forwarding again from the app, using a five-second step (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30). Carriers quietly discard any other value and fall back to their own default, which is longer, not shorter.
That message only means the code was accepted, not that the network will act on it. Some prepaid plans accept every diversion code and run none of them. Make a real test call from another phone — it is the only proof. If it still fails, ring your carrier and ask them to enable conditional call forwarding on the service.
Open the call in the app and correct it — the booking updates immediately. Then go to Train "Ali" and say the address the way locals say it. She keeps the correction.
Yes. In most Australian states recording a call without letting the other person know is against the law. Ali can say it in her greeting — turn that on in Train "Ali".
Dial ##002# and calls come straight back to your phone immediately. To close the account entirely, use Delete my account in the account menu — that removes everything permanently. Subscriptions are managed on this website, not in the app.
Australia. Ali is trained on Australian speech and Australian place names, and the numbers are Australian.
